All pets entering Country Inn Pet Resort must have written proof of up-to-date vaccinations. This must be completed prior to check-in.
For canine guests:
- Rabies (1 or 3 years)
- DHPP
- H3N8 & H3N2 (Canine Influenza Combo, yearly)
- Bordetella (done every 6 months)
- Fecal Test (done every 6 months).
For feline guests:
- FVCRP
- Rabies
- FeLV/FIV test negative (within last 30 days)
- Fecal Test
- Feline Leukemia (ifย outdoor)
Pets must have received inoculations at least 5 (five) days before entering the Resort.
PLEASE NOTE: It is The Pet Ownerโs responsibility to provide us with the petโs most current vaccinations records.ย Leptospirosis vaccine is not mandatory but strongly recommended.
Why is the Canine Influenza Virus vaccination required?
We require the Canine Influenza (CIV) vaccination for all pets prior to boarding and daycare for the safety of your dog and others. CIV is highly contagious, with an 80% infection rate, and is a serious disease that can even be fatal. The vaccine helps to lessen the severity and duration of flu symptoms, should your dog contract the virus.
