Unable to find a suitable place where she would feel comfortable leaving her pets while traveling back and forth to Brazil; Monica Silva had the wonderful idea of creating a state of the art pet resort with an Animal Hospital in 1998. Monica was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; she is a Doctor in Veterinarian Medicine, mother of two lovely kids, married to Victor Silva a proud owner of a beautiful 6,000 acres cattle ranch in Brazil.
Monica is a true believer that the key to keeping dogs happy and healthy is to exercise and lots of TLC. So the first thing she did was find a large parcel of land where she could build her life-long dream; a facility with comfortable and spacious bungalows for boarding, dog daycare, and grooming, a state of the art fully equipped Animal Hospital and 3 acres of specially designed, fun recreation areas.
Since 1999, Monica was doing her homework by visiting many respected pet resorts around the country, participating in related seminars and courses such as how to operate a Dog Daycare, Off Leash Dog Play, Reading & Understanding Behavior Signs in Dogs and she did volunteer work at Animal Hospitals.
In June, 2006 Monica's dream came true, Country Inn Pet Resort & Animal Hospital opened to the public.
Here at Country Inn, our guests and patients become members of our family and as such, receive the love, care and respect that would at home.
